What Is devonshire Court ?

Devonshire Court is a Company that was established on the 29th September 1972 on the completion of the buildings. It's purpose is to administer the annual maintenance fees paid in by shareholders, the fee is currently £800.00 pa which is paid in two installments of £400.00 April/October. This covers the insurance for the building, Gardening, Communal window cleaning, cleaning of the communal hallways, repairs and general improvements to the property and to maintain a claim and peaceful environment in which to live.

Devonshire Court (Blackpool) Limited is run by three Directors headed up by the Sectary Gerry Townson, Marjorie Taylor is the Treasurer and Darren Jennings completes the team. We have an Annual general meeting usually in March were shareholders have the opportunity to vote on various issues regarding the running and maintenance of the apartments and also elect the Committee for the following year. The Committee also holds regular directors meetings to discuss on-going projects and general issues that arise. A newsletter is sent our to all shareholders updating them on the content of the meetings and giving them the opportunity to respond with questions, requests or recommendations which will then be discussed and responded to by the directors.
